I've meaning to write a post, here goes an overdue write-up.
I've been employed for almost a month. I chose a random state, one i'm never familiar with and don't have anyone that i know of. It was actually a very impulsive choice. I tried reasoning out with myself every now and then, of why I made that decision on a bed in Travelodge somewhere in York, UK in the midst of my winter holiday.
So i'm now working in Melaka. A small state in the southern part of Peninsula Malaysia.
And i'm typing this in a car in RnR Seremban somewhere along the NSE, waiting for Alia on our way back to our rumah sewa.
It felt weird at first. Like first day of school, where everyone gives you that odd stare.

This was saved in my draft 2 months ago and i never got back to it. Until today.
Honestly I have no other feelings or words to express rather than being extremely grateful of what I have chosen. I now choose to not strut and fret or overthink of such a hasty decision made. I do not regret. I am genuinely very happy working in Melaka. I have amazing colleagues who are supportive and we get along well. My superiors are okay, they don't say much but at least they never gave me a hard time. Workload at the clinic is very leisure, we do have our busy days but we hardly complain on that. Something i don't think i'll ever get working in a big city.
And with that I get to practice my clinical skills slowly but surely. I know I could never handle the pressure, this is the best for me. I'm way more confident now than ever.
On top of that, the place me and Alia are renting are getting more comfy these days after we've finally received our backdated pay and we can afford to add on more amenities.
Alhamdulilah. I thank God for this blessing of life i have been given. I pledge to make the best out of this year. To continue exploring and learning. Life is good.

First week in new neighbourhood

First bike ride near our place

First shotgun

First time doing brushing demo on handicapped kids at a PDK, centre for OKU

First school dental treatment
