YOUR NUMBER OF POSTS IS NOW EQUAL TO THE NUMBER OF POSTS OF YOUR SECOND BLOG! which is "estabalished" way later than you own blog. which is shared btw with 4 other best friends hehe. YEAY WE BOTH REACH 83 POSTS TODAY. Not a number Im proud of when it comes to my personal blog. Sikit gile aku tulis eh hehe. Anyway to make it up, this is my second post for today.
Just got back from AddMaths tuition. More to a tutor la. Its me alone and the teacher. Personal tutor. Yeah thats the term. Tiba2 reminisced zaman dulu2. When I used to have so much fun going for tuitions. Weird huh? xD
Well lets see, I started going for tuition classes when I was 10. Standard 4. That early kan? My parents never forced me to go whatsoever. It was me influenced by my peers. We went to that tuition class in an old bungalow house. It was rilly fun. I remembered going for Maths classes. I did not suck at Maths. Yet. At least masa tu belum lagi la. But it was meeting my friends and having fun afterwards that intrigued me into this whole idea of going for tuition. It was a teacher from St. Thomas. Forgot her name la. But I remembered her as a really cool and nice teacher. We, the girls from a girl school haha, being very girlish and socially-oriented group would normally tease the guys. Like duh, we're the bising and outgoing ones. Biasa la girl school xD. Menyanyi lagu Berhenti Berharap by Sheila On 7 sambil membuat gaya yang sgt lawak masih ku ingat sehingga hari ini depan teacher. And she laughed. Hard I tell ya. We were one funny bunch of kids.
Then the same tuition centre in that bungalow hse moved to a tingkat atas shop lot and the tuition centre was given a new-branding la kononnye. Dinamakan Perdana Ria. Menarik kan nama? haha. I wonder if its still running nowadays. Anyhow, I went for tuition there until Std 6. Taking up only Maths n Science. Eh best la zaman2 pre-pubescent dulu. Remembered not to care what I look like and stuffs like that. How cantik I look or is my hair out of place. Usual uniform for tuitions - short pants, hodoh tshirts, sandals, and paper bag to put my papers & exercises. But hey despite all I aced UPSR without a teaspoon of pressure. It was as though my primary times passed blissfully without a glitch. IT WAS HECK OF A FUN.
Then when I was in Form 1(ke Form 2?) started going for Arab classes. It was too so the very fun. Ustzh Amira yg sgt rock dan cool. We had classes once a week with our seniors. So we learnt advance stuffs and all of us were girls except for Taufiq. Ustzh wud sometimes serve us food :D itu paling menarik ok. And bcos of the class I was one of the top scorer in Bhs Arab. Yeay me. I love languages. Every sorts of them.
Apparently Ustzh got preggy and she stopped teaching extra classes. So when I was in Form 3 I decided to join Sherr & Nani for Maths classes (again). So now I entered class because I started to discover my handicapped-ness and disability to digest numbers and interpret them in my i-think-words-are-better-than-numbers cerebrum. Believe it or not, towards the end of the year after a few months of Mr. Tan selamba teachings, I started acing Maths. Like seriously, I remembered getting a 96 for a test whereas everyone was getting a B. I was back then the few the proud, not the marines, but a a self-proclaimed Math geek.
Then when I was in Maher, I was not taken by surprise when I failed AddMaths. It was the first ever in my lifetime did I ever fail a subject. And I gotta admit. It did demotivated me from wanting to ace AddMaths. Urgh. So, i think Momma was tad bit worried for my lack of brain cells in the Numbers&Digits Departments. Hence she recommended a tuition centre. But it was diffrent bcos I did not noe anyone over ther and it wasnt fun at all anymore. So thats why I only went ther once HAHA. And guess what. Itu pun tersilap masuk kelas. I entered a freaking Modern Maths class instead of an Add Maths one. HAHA stupid me.
Konklusinya, tuition classes helps extremely. Bcos I cant study on my own, at least not Maths la kan. So I learnt smtg about myself from going for classes.
- I learn better in small groups
- I learn better with people I know
- I can concentrate better bcos of smaller radius with the teacher
- I liked being paid attention to
- I love to be in the lime light
- I wont learn in environment I regard as "intimidating"
- I learn when I have fun
- You just need to do extra work to get extra good grades man, no short cut whatsodamnever.
Therefore,
Peace Out
I hv Physics exercises waiting for me obediently
- in the corner of my room :D
