Plagiarism

I was once told. Malaysians are unoriginal. Which I believe to be the prime reason why the issue of piracy can never be tackled. If that is even a valid reason. Perhaps there are a better logical explainations to that.

Anyhow... We are known of having the ability to copy stuffs from other people. Be it in the film industry, musics or even cultural -- Indonesia? Singapore? And surely we are always are labeled as wannabes. We don't have personalities.

SAYS WHO?

Raise your hands for me if you ever listened to Like a G6 on the radio recently? Damn that song is way over-played. Oh and also the awesome Rocketeer! Those are by Far East Movement. Which is an LA-based Asian American electro hop quartet. Most of them were either from Korean or Japanese descent. And one of them is even a Filipino-descent. Oh wow. When will Malaysia ever have somebody in an "electro hop quartet". That would sound fancy in Majalah Mangga. And yes I did Wiki on them because... Well, I just have spare times and I'm sorry you don't. By "them" I mean the group not Majalah Mangga.

Okay now. Raise your hands for me if you ever encountered this group in the local music scene ages ago?

Seems like some LA dudes were copying our very own Nasheed group huh! TALK ABOUT PLAGIARISM. LOL. So this is Far-East who sang Menanti Di Barzakh . Go google it if you have no idea how the song go.

So today, I was listening to some good musics on YouTube and stumbled upon a group whose music is very stereotypical African American's rap cum hip hop. Listened to a few and found it quite good but very amusing at the same time. Why you may ask?

Does that name sounds familiar? Ring any bells? Hermmmm I can't seem to recall.

SEE? Who knew Americans copy Malaysians too! HAHAHAHAHAHA.

P/S : On a whole different note, I think this is the ugliest entry I have written ever. Different sizes of images suck. Too lazy to resize.

Recycle

Sometimes it feels like all the current songs on the radio are bull. So what you do is you dig up your old playlist. And somehow a song that has long been forgotten is replayed. Causing a stir to your memory and made you remember what it felt like listening to this song when you were much younger. That song was replayed and replayed and resurrected itself from your old memory. And that there is a great song. That will come back to you later on in life and still makes sense.

This is one of them. Cheers.

P/S : The music video doesn't make so much sense to me though. I find it rather amusing. Haha.

T&C May Apply

Bestie! Saya dah buat tag awak. Semangat tak saye? HEHEHE.

Would you shave your head if a family member asked you to because they had cancer?
Why would they ever ask me to do that? Nak suruh derma tulang sumsum ke logik jugak.

What would you do if the doctor told you that you were pregnant?
I quickly call my husband and say, "Honey, we're having a baby!". LOL

Did the one person who hurt you the most in your life apologize?
No one has ever hurt me bad enough. Not that I'm asking for it. But if ever I were to be hurt, if the person apologises I hope I can accept it though I know to forget is not an easy thing.

Are you good at hiding your feelings?
Not so much. That's why things get awkward easily around me. Because if I'm uncomfortable, it'll show. Pfft.

Are you wasting your time on someone?
I don't refer to that as "wasting time". At least for now. No.

Explain the last time you threw up.
Aha. It has been ages ago. I think when I was 16. Bad bad fever.

Last thing that made you cry:
Over laughing so loudly.

Do you have a bad temper?
Nope. But things will turn ugly if I'm really agitated.

Do you think you'll be married in 10 years?
Honestly yeah.

How many funerals have you been to in your lifetime?
Banyak.

How often do you think of suicide?
Not that often I suppose. Hang on, I don't think about it at all.

What is your deepest fear?
Natural disaster occuring in my hometown. And losing my loved ones.

Do you really love all your family?
Of course. What is there not to love? Hehe.

What do you want to believe in?
My religion, faith, destiny and definitely believe in myself.

Do you have a secret crush on someone?
Nope. Even if I do have a crush, it will never be a secret.

Are you proud of who you are?
Very. Prouder each day :)

Do you feel alone in crowded rooms?
Always do. But I couldn't care less.

What is the worst thing a person could do to you and still be forgiven?
Forgetting my birthday. Not that anyone has ever done that to me. Not anyone close enough for me to care.

You're dying in 10 seconds. what are your last words to your bestfriend?
Halalkanhutangpiutangmakanminumdoakanakuselamatdalamkuburdanalambarzakhsemogakitajumpadipadangmahsyar. Cukup 10 seconds? :)

....to your worst enemy?
Whatever you did to me, you're a bitch. But I forgive you anyway because I can't let you be questioned by Munkar and Nakir over what you did.

Do you care if person hates you?
Frankly I care. But I'm learning not to.

Freedom or safety?
I don't see the connection between freedom and safety. They are no way near antonyms. Sorry I can't brain this.

Think of a random person, and give them a message here, no names :
Hey you. What the hell are you doing now?

Has a song ever made you cry?
Bapak Ku Pulang Dari Kota! I used to cry listening to that when I was small and I don't know why.

A book ever made you cry?
I cried reading Harry Potter when Dobby died. I cried when Dumbledore died. When Jamie died in A Walk To Remember. And the part where Eddie met Nala, the Vietnamese girl he killed in Five People You Meet In Heaven.

Name one moment where you sincerely wanted to die:
When I think I flunked my Add Maths SPM paper. HAHA.

For the last one, just say anything you want, anything at all ;
I am learning to juggle three balls. I hope I can be in the circus one day. Thanks.

Reminisce

I ran out of ideas on what to blog lately. Until I found this in one of my photo folders. This was one of my favourite spots during my schooling days, which had just come to an end not too long ago, I must admit. The snapshot portrayed the typical landscape of my bed after coming back from class. It looks totally unkempt but nevertheless, very very cozy. I read books, talked on the phone and napped like nobody's business on it.

My bed which I claimed to be my territory, was where I spent most of my time in the hostel. Me being not so much of a social animal was happy to entertain myself with pillows and comfy blanky in my room. I did pay visits to mon amie in their rooms occasionally, don't take me wrong. But I remembered having to prefer staying in my own room mixing with my mad roomies - which I happen to really love!

That blue glossy paper thingy was glued to my bedside wall because previous tenants were bananas and wrote too many stupid things on the wall that desperately needed to be covered. Unless I want myself to be emotionally depressed when I sleep at nights. Notice there are some notes over on the left side? That's Chemistry. See how I'm profoundly committed to Mr. Chemistry? I wonder why but that seemed to be the only subject I had notes on. Hmm.. Scoot a little over to the right and you'll notice some sticky notes. Those are so that I don't forget stuffs which I usually do on normal basis. And also wrote some sentences that was allegedly believed to be somewhat "motivating".

On the top right is a good old family photo. See how "homeward-bound" I am HAHA. Because I know for a fact that wherever I go, that is where I always belong to. Right next to it are labels from prizes I won. Sort of a little Wall of Fame for that year. This photo was taken on early that year so I don't have so much fame during that period of time yet lol. But believe me, towards the end there were loads more. And at the bottom corner of the left side is where I pasted random images of things I love. An attempt to be creative but obviously it didn't work out well. I remember having the images of a horse, a guitar, sneakers and things like that on it. Oh slightly on top, there goes the lyrics to my all time favourite song -- The Scientist by Coldplay.

And.. Notice that little book tucked under my hideous bag? Thats Mr. Sparks'. :)

Quill & Parchment

As much as I love to write, my hand writing had never been nice, composed, neat and whatever comes together with those. It is readable nonetheless except for it has less aesthetic values compared to the ones of my peers. It was not much of a big deal until I started to grow older and realised it was a huge deal after all. Was it only me or it was really a big thing to the students over here, especially the girls to have really nice handwriting. I am not sure about that but before this I never really gave a damn about how my writings looked like scribbles and doodles. Maybe not..

So anyway, I started to get really self-conscious over my unbelievable lack of utter cursive or even my ability of wrist-control. Whenever a teacher would want to borrow my workbook or essays to be used as samples I would refuse. Like really I would rather keep it to myself and not torture anyone. And somehow I looked so arrogant doing that and even seemed very selfish. Seriously I didn't mean it at all and I sincerely apologise for having to turn down those offers. Though not that it happens that often.

I did a whole font change and tried different styles. But none of them worked out. I would return to irregular lines and loops after few seconds. Even when I realllllyyy control the muscles of my phalanges, it never turns out pretty. Some would be italic. Some would slant to left. Some would be squashed all of a sudden. And yeah you name it.

And when we were required to send in our work on Additional Maths one day, I was overjoyed to the point of euphoria right after the teacher marked my papers. Check this out, monsters!

In case you can't see it clearly, it says "neat handwriting, do your best". Yeay ME! Since then I loved doing Maths. I really loved it when teachers compliment me. The best feeling in the world. It keeps me driven. Well, they are our superiors after all and its great having them appreciate their little cadets right?

But who cares about your hand writing when what matters the most was how intelligent you form wise sentences from mere words? :)

Living Cities : Jakarta

The last time I went to Jakarta with Your Majesty King Dad, we rode on Bentley and Rolls Royce. Nope. Thats not how the locals roll it. This is the real deal!

The best part about the city was definitely the culinary experience a.k.a street food galore and some retail therapy. Again, "some" is so an understatement.

Oh ya, travelling essential wajib ada. Naik pesawat itu bosan kali tahap Dewi Ratna Sari.

CakeMania was really addictive

Footies

It was never in my to-do list. The idea of watching a football match never really intrigued any parts of me. But hey look who's cheering in a stadium now!

And I got to see Khairul Fahmi in action. He's the only one I knew anyway since he got so famous recently and girls started to like him on Facebook. Talk about the real thang babeh. See?

I was bored. I don't enjoy sports at all to be honest. The only part I found amusing was when one of the Johore players has his pants rolled up and got stuck in his asshole after a dive -- or whatever you call it. To spice things up, he didn't even notice it and walked around with his ass sticking out for a minute or so. Nice butt you got there mister LOL.

One thing I found weird was when I wasn't really focusing on the match and suddenly the crowd (read: really HUGE crowd) started going berserk. I was totally lost and waited for the replay of that exciting moment. Only to find out there are no replays during live matches. At least not over here in Kelantan. So, keeping cha head in the game brought the definition to a whole new level. Anyhow, we won. 4 to 1. Thank God we won. Otherwise I would put my life in jeopardy.

Eye Candy

Meet Jackson Avery. My new favourite character on Grey's.

Really? Can a doctor be this good looking? Although he's only imaginary. Currently waiting for the 14th episode for the 7th season to be uploaded on the web. Mark & Lexie is going downhill. What a bummer. Grr.

See how lifeless I am? Grey's Anatomy is the only thing I anticipate every normal day. It almost felt like I am living among them. How pathetic. But no worries I am still in the sane state of mind. Oh well, at least they are better than sloppy Korean dramas. No offence, just not a big a fan of them. Will not trash any Korean dramas or music in my blog though no one actually reads this. So okay whatever.

Jumper

Hah. I tried writing in Malay but it sounded too obvious. Too understand-able? Hah. I have this thing writings things so that people don't get what I'm trying to say. Because I simply refuse to. No I'm not playing hard to get. I am.

Anyhow.

I have loads of things to write. I have these stuffs in my mind all the time sometimes it feels like the old record player. You know when something triggers a topic in your mind, then you place that needle thingy on the record and it spins? Err.. What am I trying to say again? Okay this is exactly what I was talking about. Sometimes I don't even know what is it that I wanna say. And even sometimes when I really know what I wanna write it would either too pathetic to be published or I would kill myself when certain audience of this medium reads that particular entry.

On a whole different note, life has been somewhat slow-paced right now and hate to say this but I kinda miss the stress. Not that I was stressful or whatever before this BUT I miss having things to get done. I missed having to write. As in really write with a pen and a piece of paper. Although I have the ugliest hand writing ever I should go and hang myself. Crap I did not just admit I miss school aiye?

So.

Tomorrow. ( Or this morning to be exact since is already almost 1am so yeah you get my point ) I'll be taking the JPJ driving test and had to wave Perhentian a pass. So if I fail yeah, I should go hang myself. UPSIDE DOWN. Well, lets just say that remembering routes is just not my forte. Like at all. So I might end up with driving that JPJ officer to Zimbabwe. Yeay me.

See?

How this entry seemed to jump from one topic to another? This is what we call multi-tasking. Really though? I don't think so.

Extinct

I read somewhere.

"Not having a Facebook account is like not existing."

Currently, being "non existing" seems like a great idea. And let's see how long can I stand being in that state.

What ever happened to email accounts?

Hence, so long farewell. Goodbye eff bee.
