Surprise?

I remembered going down the same road not two years back. The obnoxious feeling of cruising through the bridge overseeing Perhentian Island, especially. And what I felt on that day was totally the opposite of what I felt today. Today it felt nostalgic, joyful, excited and confident. Its funny how those feelings can change drastically.

And so the plan to surprise our teacher for her birthday today didn't quite work out. Thanks to yours truly me. Hehe. We came in two cars; all the way each from Kota Bharu and Kuala Terengganu. See, that's the price for studying in a boarding school. We all live in different areas and came from various backgrounds. But hell yeah, we rock nonetheless. Our amazing teachers taught us how to rock ;)

See? No one has great teachers like them. Only us! Haha. So. We loitered around the good old staffroom. We ate, chatted, sang and laughed like a bunch of crazy kids. It felt good to see the familiar atmosphere and environment. Good to see some of the other teachers. Good to see the familiar trees, the stairs and the classrooms.

We were being random and wanted to go to a beach nearby. So we drove around in a car and stumbled upon this beautiful, secluded and picturesque beach. Never knew that a place so breathtaking existed near our school. We chilled and sang songs, doing nothing. That was lovely. We didn't have anything to think of, just enjoying each others' company.

You know, our school might not be the best school in the country. People we meet would less likely to have even ever heard of this school. It may not have the best facilities. We don't have 100 straight A's students. It may be located in a small town called "Besut". We may not have any malls to go out for outings every weekends. But this small school in a small town? Its beautiful and it taught us a lot.

Oh, and I might not have many friends. But the ones I have? They are the best. And funny too! HAHA. Lesson : Never put your car to "D" gear when you wanna park it. This only applies to auto cars :P

And to our teachers ; Miss Erin & Miss Fatihah. You know your kampung boys and kampung girls love you with all our tiny hearts :)
